First cornwell tools. Older 72 tooth design, not sure when they switched to 100 tooth but these look unused.

Few things at work are made a helluva lot easier with them. Honestly I could have got by with two half moon wrenches. Seen this set on eBay, made the guy an offer and the rest is history.

I found when I stopped loaning tools out to coworkers they stopped becoming "lost". Useless knowledge of the day....hunting boomerangs dont return and were never meant to.

Couple new to me items. Would snap a pic of the 26" Mac axis ratchet I picked up from the classifieds here but I figured I'd keep the image size down for everyone. :bounce:

    Are Mid-depth Sockets Useful??

I'm going to check out the napa set, I want mine broached deep for the work I do. Been itching to pull the trigger on a Mac 14pc set which I may end up doing. Kinda wish tools delivered had a set from Williams. Reserved online to pick up at my store for the Napa set, price changes to 32.40...

Who makes the best ratcheting wrench??

I have a set of long pattern SK wrenches, my father has a set of Mac long pattern. There is quite a bit of difference in size between the two with the Mac being more petite. That said, it's never been a problem from me. My next set I'm looking at wright grip which I hear have pretty thick...

    Craftsman Toolboxes (Light the fire!)

200lbs? Pffff....those are some weak drawers. Lista advertises 440lb drawer capacity! Lol....I have a 10 year old cman bb griplatch stack and I'm happy. Except I'm running out of space so I'll probably put in a order with lista, so far they seem to have the best layout and options without...

Deep Metric USA Sockets - S-K Still Good?

I'd go with Williams USA made over SK. Recent SK individual sockets I bought had chrome missing. The set of Williams I bought was overall nicer IMO, even over looking the chrome issue on the SK sockets I'd still go with Williams. Toolsdelivered.com is where I bought my Williams.

Who makes the best ratcheting wrench??

I have a set of reversible SK that are made in Taiwan from ~10 years ago. Never had a problem with them. I was interested in the new X frame but I don't think I'll ever go back to a non reversible / no offset wrench. I plan on trying a set of stubby and flex head from Williams next.

    Miniature(?) Craftsman Axe/Hatchet

Looks like a belt axe to me. I have a modern custom one made by Lee Reeves who retired last year. Supposedly they were quite popular/common "back in the day".

    Ratchet lube

My work uses 3 different grades of superlube, along with 3 other types of grade 2 grease. So I get to play around trying out different types when time allows. I have been partial to using Weapons Shield grease from George Fennell, creator of the original FP10 (not the shooters choice ****). At...

    New craftsman pry bars.

I sent a message to Wilde asking if they do indeed make these and if they would be available with their logo on them for the reasons I mentioned above. They responded by asking to see pictures of the pry bars I was inquiring about. Maybe they don't make them for cman?!? :dunno:

Lets see pictures of your tool box organization

Few drawers. 90% SAE. Sad part is I've added more tools since those pictures which are only a couple weeks old. Oh well, can never have enough tools...or storage, which I am running out of.

What Tool Purchases Do You Regret The Most?

Pittsburgh Pry bars, Pittsburgh plier set. Broke a pry bar, got lucky and wasn't hurt. Pliers slipped and got a nasty cut out of the ordeal. 12 years later....roll the dice and bought a set of the composite Pittsburgh pro ratchets.

Thanks guys, but I already have a set of the regular Wilde bars....I was referring to the new strike cap ones, hoping Wilde offers those up for sale soon....if they are indeed who is manufacturing them for craftsman. I did buy my set from HJE, I have the regular set and the next size bigger...
