We only densify slabs if we are polishing them. Or if they are problematic: excessive dusting, soft concrete etc.

Yes, are yiu having the concrete power troweled?

Can yiu take a chain and drag over the floor? How does it sound it certain areas? Hollow or solid. This will give a good idea of spalling issues from salt and what not.

Polyaspartic, aliphatic urethanes, or acrylics will be your best bet.
