    3M work tunes are great, but my 3 pairs, the batteries run down if I dont take them out when done. Another problem is ear pieces tend to deteriorate after a few years, easy fix is use the cheap ear muffs from harbor freight to replace them.

    Planning Stages ~ Doors

    If money in not in question, go with 12 foot doors. Lot less oops come into play with wider doors. Neighbor has hit the side purlins on his 10 foot opening, 3 bay shop a bunch of times. Always says he wished he would have gone with wider doors.

    I would remove the lockset and replace it with a deadbolt lock. Install a pull above the lock. If you want the door to stay shut install a light duty door closer.     Mice are killing me....

    01, when you start keeping your vehicles and other equipment in the pole barn, raise the hoods on everything. I have not had a problem with rats or mice chewing harnesses since I started doing this. It helps to keep a light on also.
