    Favorite metric tape??

I'm really happy with my Starrett 5m (TX34-5M) and my Komelon 8m (PG85). I hate SAE for measuring.

    How to store socket rails?

Westling does make 3-row in 1/4 and 3/8. I can't recall if they do in 1/2.

    tankless or small tank heater?

It has been my experience that unless a tankless gas unit is used frequently with shower-length duty cycles they go bad or you need to do much more frequent cleaning. Your best bet is to go for a small tank water heater.

Drilling small hole in a stone arrowhead.

If the surface is not flat you will can have a lot of trouble with the bit wanting to wander over the surface. Drilling this sort of stuff is hard. I use diamond coated bits, go slow and under water. Anything you can do to fix the arrowhead down will help.

    Tools of Japan

Thanks, I'm going to include a 22x24 as I do use these sizes on occasion. I am tempted to indulge. Nepros set (NTM11L06 )of 8x10, 10x12, 12x14, 14x17, 17x19, 22x24 will set me back $355+shipping. Or more realistically I could piece one together without size duplicates for $245 + shipping...

    Tools of Japan

Hello all, I’m in the market for a set of metric 0 offset extra-long handle double box end wrenches. I mostly work on Japanese cars so I don’t need a complete set, JIS works for me. Two sets I’m considering is a Kyoto Tool Company set and piecing together a similar set of Nepros. I can’t post...

Exactly. Also specific readers sometimes do better with specific mfgs and less well with others.
