buying a long term air compressor for a shop?

If you were looking to buy a compressor for your shop that you expected to last a long time what would you be looking at? I know that people talk about budget and what planning to use it for, but regardless of that....If you were looking to buy a good compressor that could be used for most jobs...

Show me your car wash setup, wall mounted pressure washers

I love my kranzle power washer. I use it for more than just car washing but it works great. I love that you can rebuild the dang thing if it wears out rather than buying a plastic disposable piece of junk. Hook a foam canon up to it before you start scrubbing and its a dream. I'm not obsessive...

Got a stainless sink for a song, now to figure out how to mount it...

Sorry, I am trying to figure out if there is a way to mount it onto a stainless steel countertop like a commercial one. Its going in my shop. I realize I could do a regular countertop, just trying to figure out if there is a source to do it with a stainless countertop.

Got a stainless sink for a song, now to figure out how to mount it...

I picked up a Kraus 33 undermount 16 gauge stainless sink for next to nothing. Now I gotta figure out how to mount the thing. Putting it in some kind of stainless countertop setup would be great but I doubt I'll fine one with a hole cut to fit it? Its 33 inches x 19 inches.

Basic/economic not fancy rolling tool cabinet??

Built in cabinets in garage and preexisting peg board.. They're cheaply made fiber board or osb or some such. They were already there when bought the house. I replaced the work top with a solid wood piece when we moved in as it was disintegrating but have just used these. Except for the...

Basic/economic not fancy rolling tool cabinet??

Have a family I now through working with their kids in 4-H that just listed a MATCO 52". No idea what kind it is. They say the drawers are stiff, I'm assuming they need to be cleaned and greased but who knows. Its a 3 bay with a wood top. Haven't read a lot on here on MATCO quality. Its the...

    Gator Hooks/magnetics and spray foam??

2 inches closed cell is what I am looking at doing on the sides. I'm intrigued by the idea of the magnets, and I messed with some at a vendor booth earlier this year, I certainly believe they can hold 50lbs, they held my 8 year old who is right at 50lbs....but I'm dubious how good a job they...

    Gator Hooks/magnetics and spray foam??

No more if it damages the spray foam. Gator hooks themselves says that the magnets will attach through spray foam depending on thickness. I was just curious if anyone had tried and if it damaged the foam.

    Gator Hooks/magnetics and spray foam??

Based off the fact I can find no one online actually talking about this, I am convinced they don't work, but going to ask anyway. Has anyone ever used gator hooks on spray foam? I'm going with closed cell, and the adds are intriguing for a storage/organization option. However, even if the...

Basic/economic not fancy rolling tool cabinet??

I am waiting to get a drawing back from contractor to approve everything before they get started on buidling the our metal shop/barn. I am in that dangerous stage or researching every aspect of what I might put in the barn once it gets built. Including welders, tool storage, organization...

    Vintage Quincy air compressor 212-24?

Got some pics today. The legs are welded on, but the tank was inspected afterwards to make sure it was safe. No label/tag on the motor. Orange compressor is the current one he uses that he installed about 8 or so years ago.

    Vintage Quincy air compressor 212-24?

He was using it until he replaced it with his current one which I believe has a 250 gallon tank on it...sorry just my estimate, I have no idea what the pump or motor is. The tank doesn't have feet on it, he just has it sitting on I beams to keep it off the ground. 95% of all i do with it is...

The New shop plans are ongoing. Waiting on the quote from my builder. It will be 25x30 or thereabouts. Been doing research on things and one thing I am needing is a compressor for the shop. We have a small makita big bore in the garage, but looking for something a bit bigger in the shop...

    Building me a shop-advice/questions

Thanks, I am enjoying the video. Trying to make sure I get this done right and don't have to try to fix something in the future. Currently debating between a 25x27 foot shop or a 30x27 foot shop. Would love to do the 30....but we have a beautiful liveoak tree there that would be about 6 feet...
