    Got these for free, just cleaned up the rust and gave them a fresh coat. Added a file cabinet for manuals and such Picked these upper cabinets up for cheap on craigslist.

    Oak top bench gets a vanity underneath with the drawers hacked out to make a nice little kennel for Riley. Plopped this thing up out of the way Fits pretty nicely

    Picked up some nice oak boards from the mill and joined them together at my old man's house for a new bench top Picked this up for $50 for a little extra storage

    The boards paralleling the cross beam of the lift aren't structural, it was actually a leg that would swing down to support a similar beam across the other side of the garage for hoisting....     Oh yeah, installed the lift to get it out of the weather sitting out on the trailer. Cheap used lift, but basically brand new and $600 was reasonable enough. It was also a really tight fit... the top cross beam is up inside the trusses. Its just too bad that I can't make the room to use it yet!

    I got a TON of 5/8 sheetrock for free, so time to insulate before that goes up! The garage was also wired with and spliced with electrical tape with extension cords everywhere... its a wonder it didn't burn down. So also time to rewire the entire place the right way. Half of the sheetrock I...

    So to start, When I bought the house, it was for sale by owner and the old man left EVERYTHING... including milk and eggs in the fridge and clothes in the closet. So the garage was packed with ****... some good, some trash. Starting to clean it out... It's all gotta go!

    First order of business was to get rid of this behemoth that the previous owner left me with Here's what I replaced it with- mk1 turbo diesel! :) Then after a hellish first winter in my first house and adding a couple new members to the family- on to the inside of the garage. Bye bye allroad :(
