Tamper proof torx's hold on the top in a bronco

I have an oil pressure sending unit socket from them and it is pretty bad quality. It barely fit on a 3/8 ratchet to begin with (real wobbly) and after a few uses the metal around the square is all crushed up. Cheap soft metal is what it seems like
