I know that, at this point in my life I pay the government enough money without paying for another permit. I am aware of all the regulations and rules for inspections. The building will be wired correctly but without buying a permit.

I clearly stated I am not wiring a house. This is a basic shop.

What is the rule of thumb for receptacles? How far apart? How many circuits? I want to do this myself without having to pay for a high dollar permit. Its just a metal building not a home. 30x48 metal building

I have a roll up door like the image. When it rains the water splashes back against the door and seeps under. I don't have the funds to run gutters right now. Any other suggestions for a temporary fix?

I was thinking of spray foam insulation.

Should I drill holes in my wall beams and run the flex? Is it a no-no to drill 1" holes for running stuff?

I will be using 12/2 cable wrapped in Armored shield in my all metal building. Should I try to hide it in the insulation or expose it? I just want opinions.

They did put a radiant metallic barrier in the roof of my building.

This metal building seemed like it was at the price that I could afford at the size I needed. At this point I am stuck with this shell cave. I just want to make it usable for my needs. What did you think about the other choice?

Excuse me. 12/2 Flex Conduit with wire Building beams do not have holes. The pictures of the building are in the link listed above from an earlier post I made in another section of this forum.

The manufactor installed radiant barrier insulation in the roof panels. If I cover the panels with OSB I can use rolls of insulation or blown in. I just wanted to use something lite that I could screw in place such as gatorboard or white card board to just support whatever insulation I put up there.
