The original design was for a two story structure plus the weight of a 28' offshore powerboat with twin i/o chevy v8's carring 150 gals. of fuel. The boat & trailer package weight is about 10k lbs. I also have two cars in there as well. The new structure will be the same design as original...

Ok guys, my 24 x 40 garage is full. I am planning to grab the back and stretch it 36' which will make it 24 x 76. The existing slab is post tension. Should I stick with that design for the addition or just go with rebar and wire. The new slab will be tied into the old with dowels. :beer:

Your garage looks great. It seems to be going quickly. I have a 24 x 40 that is laid out like your's. I want to add another 36' to the 40. What do you think the cost is without the plumbing and eletrical on your build? :beer:

I've been looking at Bend Pak HD-9, All American Lift M-815, and the Rotary Revolution RFP7P001 4-post lifts. I am doing the research for myself and two friends. We will all buy the same lift and help each other with instalation. I have not priced the HD-9 or the M-815. Any input or...

I am about to do the same thing. My A/C guy says to install a new unit on my house and put my 6 year old, 3 ton unit in the garage. Coast will be around 3600.00 total. :beer:

If you are planning for a lift, you might want to put industrial can lights in the floor. They work alot better than a drop light. :beer:
