Pleading ignorance here, can someone explain why an impact extension is acceptable but one of those SO adapters are not suitable for impact use. Am guessing that a 3/8" socket may not be able to handle the amount of torque a 1/2" gun could deliver (more an issue of the socket vs the adapter)...
