Valco Chemical in Ohio, I think, used to offer what they called the tube grip. It was a set of pliers that made the silicone tubes compress. They work really well. I don't know if they still offer them or not. I got mine at a trade show, they came with a tube of their silicone.

I have a Handy lift table with the 12" side extensions. Use it to work on Lawn and Garden equipment, four wheelers, etc. Plus it makes a fine work bench when empty. Have had it for over six years with no regrets.

I've never used a Pferd cut off wheel, but being in the small engine, lawnmower business I can tell you that Pferd is the best chain saw tooth file. Followed by Vallorbe then Oregon in terms of quality and cut. By the way, Pferd is a take off on Preferred.

I'm not sure about the Matco product, but Sears had a similar product last time I looked. I have a bottle and all it is is thinned down valve grinding compound. But it does work in the right circumstances.
