Got to a sale 3 hours after opening on first day. I was blown away at the contents of a box nobody bothered to look in, it had the cutters and plane parts. Glad I went and got all pictured for $40. ***** the rest of the plane wasnt there. I hope to get a few bucks back on the enameled cast iron.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Got this cool rifle vise at an estate sale. It was out in the open on a tool bench on the second day of the sale. Never saw anything like it, a Fin out of my pocket and it was mine. I dont do any gunsmithing and it will find a new home to be used instead of sitting on my workbench.

I was looking at a few things I don't need in the garage at an Estate sale this weekend. I guess there wasnt much interest in these as the lady running the sale said they wont cost me much. I figured I could take the motors off and for $30 I bought 2 things I dont need. Looks like a cheese...

Good digging sale today with some keepers. The Norlund was between garage wall studs behind many planks of wood. The other tool guy was not happy when I yanked it out after 20 min of plank relocation. A cool egg timer I dont need but had to grab it. $50 each on the tractor seat and Norlund and...

    Longinney Screwdrivers.

Cant seem to find much on these. The packaging is cheap cardboard but the screwdrivers seem half descent. Any idea who made these? Maybe came from one of those parking lot tool trucks back in the 80s 90s. So cheap junk.

A few more finds I forgot about from last friday because they were so grimy. The brass tags are cool and should clean up ok. I didn't think much of the axe till I saw it was embossed. Some steel wool did the job, its a Kelly. Very well used and sitting in a damp basement for 50 years didnt help.

Hit a fun one on friday, a real digger. Place was pretty much void of tools but plenty of cool old stuff. I was encouraged to make a pile and here is my $350 pile. Plenty of mouse and racoon poop but that didnt stop me,it did make others back off from deep digging.

Hit a fun sale today about an hour away. Pictures in listing looked better than it was but still got some keepers. Prices were ok/fair and I got out of there dropping $150. The bolts might have been a mistake, oh well. The rebuilt Stanadyne pump I didnt know what it was but took a chance for...
