Ceilings are just under 14'. Not sure of the light spacing. There are 8, 8ft fluorescent lights. Really happy with how bright the space is at night.

The guys came to pick up the shed today. They said it ended up weighing a little over 6000 lbs. They had to remove it in pieces. Love the unobstructed view now

The garage contractors finished earlier this evening. Going to add a black rubber molding where the sheetrock meets the concrete. The movers are bringing the rest of our stuff this Monday (ended up being a good thing, but the first set of movers only brought half of our stuff due to one of...

I'm excited to get started! Haven't been to Reston in a few years. (We both lived in RTC prior to moving to WV). Thanks! For sure will remain a clean space. My wife wants to get a 70s muscle car or two. I'm into modern imports; the current project is a turbo 911 :) Garage will have a two post...

How to finish our concrete walls

I'm headed back to the house tomorrow, so I'll double check, but I think they're 2x8, specifically. The house uses heat pumps (and propane for the fireplaces/stove).

The vertical strips are just nailed to the concrete, with wiring running up the sides of the wood.

How to finish our concrete walls

Oh okay. Thanks! Thanks for the info/idea. I have considered leaving the concrete as is (well, exposed, and just paint the concrete/finished walls and ceiling a solid color (either gray or white)). No heat nor AC currently. I'm not sure if NG is available. (Posted new pics. Let me know...

Quite a bit of the concrete on the left (when outside, facing the garage) is underground.

How to finish our concrete walls

I don't have a compressor/any air tools (my impact is electric). EDIT: or did you mean air (as in air conditioning)? haha

How to finish our concrete walls

I appreciate the reply! All of the electrical has already been run (with wiring running down each existing stud). Each garage wall has multiple 120/240v circuits/outlets. Does that change your outlook, or would you still recommend framing it on the floor?
