Dood, don't let a cow go in there with a lantern! On second thought if it's insured, it might not be so bad!

    home depot warning

A rough topic to read about when you just had a diverticulitis attack! I spent Wendsday in the hospital thinkin about shizzle pipes! I prefere the 98 Menards car over the 48 lowes car and the 20 home depot car! I would shop at Menards just for that fact ifin there was one here!

    DIY oil change VS. dealership

I've been doing my own for 35 years, that two dollars an oil change that I saved really adds up! I usually own at least 3 cars or trucks up to as many a 7 at a time, so that is any where from 6 to 14 bucks save per cycle. They are digging the hole for my swimming pool tomorrow!

Coffee you're drinking in you garage?

Ive been grinding various bold coffee beans and using a French Press for about 3 years, but last week I switched back to a drip maker, because I think strong coffee overload has been adversly affecting my physiology. I did 20 in the navy and drank my share of rot gut stuff!

Glad to be Alive... Close call...

Oh yeah, being that you are a Jarhead, when you drive your truck again, you will probably find that you flatspotted your tires!

Glad to be Alive... Close call...

Semper Fi Marine. Glad you made it out! I did something stupid at least once, not as bad, I did not strap a transmission on a ****** jack and it fell about two feet onto my right forearm, it was a C6. The only thing that kept it from pulverizing my arm was that my neon drop light on the floor...

    New slab already having problems.

Looks like mine did, it's called spauling. My builder had a different concrete dood come in and chip out the spauled spots and spot patch with Renew Coat, then they re- surfaced the entire floor with Renew Coat. It's been almost two months, and it's ho;ding up fine! Here is my original post...

My new concrete surface is cracking away! Recomendations would be appreciated!

Well, I had my floor repaired yesterday with Renew Coat by Lambert. First the spauled areas were chipped up, then patched with renew coat. After that had set, the whole garage received a coating of renew coat. So far it looks good, and feels good. Here is what was used...

My new concrete surface is cracking away! Recomendations would be appreciated!

The Production manager came out and looked at it, and said it was horrible, a follow up call today with the warranty dept says it will be fixed. They are consulting with contractors to determine the best plan. The production manager liked my Fords, that helped!

My new concrete surface is cracking away! Recomendations would be appreciated!

The bulder's production manager came and looked at it, used his hammer to tap out and pop a couple places, and said it was horrible. He left and said he would talk to one of his contractors. It is still only the top surface that is affected only about 1/16th or less deep. The rest of the slap...

My new concrete surface is cracking away! Recomendations would be appreciated!

Thanks fellas, spalling for either 2 or 3 looks most likely. The house is on a slab and the garage is attatched, so replacing the pad would be hard. I'm thinking after reading all this that rather than patching it, mayhaps diamond grinding the surface down might fix it. All my tools are in a...
