Vintage Craftsman 1/4" drive socket set Help completing set please

I think what Don d42jeep posted above shows the set I have from the Sears catalog. That's what I've been going by anyway.

Vintage Craftsman 1/4" drive socket set Help completing set please

I will do as you suggest and ad a "looking for" thread. I actually grew up in Iowa and that is where all my family is from and still remain. The Army brought me to Texas and we stayed here after I retired. My great grandpa was a farmer in his last decades. When I was a young boy I remember...

Thank you. I think I read that on another thread so I didn’t follow up on my question. Much appreciated.

Vintage Craftsman 1/4" drive socket set Help completing set please

I actually have many things from my great grandpa who passed away several years before I was born. I have his carpenter's chest he made to store his tools, three cabinets he made out of redwood or cedar, I have his watch he used when he was a railroad fireman, a few of his planes and the like...

Vintage Craftsman 1/4" drive socket set Help completing set please

Thanks Dave I forgot to mention one socket I bought from eBay, a socket I think was the correct one, the seller sent me a glow in the dark wall plate. They sent the socket to the person that ordered the wall plate 😂

Insulation- You may have noticed that I started insulating with polyiso foam board in the post above. It is a tedious process, but you can get good R value from cutting and fitting inch and a half board between the the 2x framing. I started on the east wall because in the morning the sun beats...

Vintage Craftsman 1/4" drive socket set Help completing set please

I just need one socket, 1/4" dr 1/4", to make this set as complete as I think I'll probably be able. Of the two 1/4 sockets I've bought on ebay, one looks like the correct wall thickness but has -v- instead of =v=, the other has the correct =v= but the socket is noticeably thinner as well as...

    Master⭐️Pro wrenches-Who made them?

Yeah it's a bit murky I see. It is still possible that I bought them at the AAFES PX (military exchange) back then. I sent an email to O'Reilly Auto Parts to inquire about what they may be able to tell me. Thank you all for chiming in with your assistance on this. They are really nice...

Moving really *****. No doubt about it. When I moved out of my shop I was renting in 2015, it was hard to get all of the things I had in my 2,400 sq/ft shop in a little one car garage in the back yard where we lived. When I unloaded it all it looked like this- When we moved out here in the...

That's a very nice looking building! I also noticed you omitted vapor barrier as I normally see installed up north. Do you live in far south Illinois?

Thank you! Metal frame buildings are way more common here in central Texas than wood post frame buildings. There are lots and lots of good welders here and fairly low cost steel, mostly from Mexico. A wood post frame building is what I wanted and the post frame contractor matched the price I...

The juice box I wasn't too impressed with the breaker box install. I'm not an electrician. This box isn't as tidy as the very similar box at the house. They were done by two different electrical subs. We don't have any inspectors out here so I guess it's fine.

The beginnings of a gym This is a wall mounted 'rig' is from when I owned and operated an olympic weightlifting gym. It's a multi use item for squatting, pressing and pulling. Eventually I'll have to move it when we build the bathroom.

26 June, 2023 I used a bunch of the leftover big stones and some 'road base', as it is called here, to make a ramp for the west roll up door. 5 July, 2023 Then I could get our Airstream in there

    Master⭐️Pro wrenches-Who made them?

Hope your lunch was fun. The classic American Service Center. Definitely iconic. Best to your bud in his new endeavors. Thanks for the list link. Lots of things to read here! This granco wrench on Ebay looks very similar to the Master⭐️Pro wrenches I have.

I saw a few tools from Master Pro on ebay. It's a cool ratchet but then I'd want the sockets.... I don't think I've seen similar ratchets before.

Thanks for all that information. The NHT thread is a good read. I haven't finished it yet though. Never heard of the ITCL. Is it available online?

    Master⭐️Pro wrenches-Who made them?

So, you DO know what Grok is. I can't say for sure I bought them at O'Reilly's, but that is one of the two auto parts stores I frequent. The other being NAPA. They don't look like S-K to me. I also don't think they are from Armstrong. The thickness of the box end wall is pretty chunky.
