Above 1200 Sq/FT My Retirement Shop, Pole Barns, Old Truck and Questionable Decisions Thread

Beautiful shop and accessory shed you have there! Really your whole compound is amazing. I'm sure your dad is smiling at the work you've put into the place. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. You did a wonderful job of documenting and explaining everything. I just finished reading...

Yeah I know. It is weird. The 3/8 drive 12pt deep set I have is the same way. I'd think skipping the 5/8" would be a better choice lol.

I just needed one 3/8 drive 11/16 shallow 12 point inverted G2D "easy read" to fill a hole in my set. I bought the set new from Sears in 2011 or so. Why Craftsman ever sold a socket set without an 11/16, and why I bought it, are two puzzles. Here's the pic from eBay- I thought for sure I'd...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Added a few sockets I bought in the classifieds here on GJ to the socket drawer. Too cold to do much more.

I'm happy SBD bought Craftsman from Sears

10 days I sent in the form online on Jan 13th at 7:30 pm and the next day at 1:00 pm I received an email stating that a courtesy order was placed with the order number. UPS dropped the ratchet off yesterday Jan 23rd so it took 10 days. I was never provided a UPS tracking number but the email...

I'm happy SBD bought Craftsman from Sears

I have this old Craftsman 1/4" ratchet I bought from a Gov contractor in Wiesbaden, Germany back in 1995 or 96. He got a DWI so he had to leave Germany like the next day so I bought this ratchet and a few sockets from him. I used it a bunch when I was restoring Airstreams for a living back in...

Yes. After a couple good scrubbings they are acceptably non odorous.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

It's been busy getting ready for the cold and winter weather coming. WInterized our Airstream, the hose bibs around the house and the shop and got the generator out. I still have pretty low confidence in the Texas grid. When we built this house we chose a really nice fireplace, more of a wood...

I needed some 6point metric sockets in the shop box. I was looking at Tekton then realized I could get another set of these and have a ratchet, extensions and a universal for the same money.

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

Oh Lord I know. It's such a shame to have a nice magnetic socket storage rail that came with the socket sets I bought because I saw them on here, and had to have them, that have so much wasted space they mess up my socket storage plan. Where does it end????

Awesome! I don't think the ball detent is really necessary. I'd be happy to send the extrusion and the little thingamabobs to someone that would like to make these and probably have the ability to sell them on etsy or whatknot.

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

I'm looking for some help getting some things printed. I don't know anything about 3D printing and I don't plan on getting into it, but some of the things I see made on this thread leads me to believe these wouldn't me too hard to make for someone like y'all on this thread! More info in my...

Hmmm. I think this would work to repair the front plastic air dam thing under the front bumper and tailgate top protector on my RAM 1500. Good excuse to go to HF anyway.

That's a really cool machine! I'm guessing you already know what 'farfalla' means in Italian slang. I really chuckled.
