I would echo the above and also recommended stepping up in grit(higher).
The 36 and 60 grit remove material damn fast. I almost prefer 80 or 120 unless I am in a huge time crunch and presentation of final product isnt important

Just checked the date codes on my NiCad's - 04. I've got good usage out of them... One did stop working after a few years and took it to batteriesplus for a fix but it never kept more than a half charge

You don't need nitrogen. You can use compressed co2 as well or even high psi compressed air cylinders.
Our cup cars weigh 2800lbs for reference.
We have not retrofitted these jacks to any other cars as most of the series we run they are not needed

I was very interested but after reading all the responses and lack of straight forward responses, this seems pretty half baked.
