    Daisy chaining wireless router

Why are you resetting the first router? If it is because you can't get access to anything beyond your home network (i.e. the internet) then adding another router as an access point won't solve that problem. You want the router in the garage to be the main router. However, if that router...

3/4" Conduit - How many amps can be put through that?

Thanks everyone. I will be having an electrician do the work, I was just wondering if it was going to be possible to get 40 amps to the garage through that conduit.

3/4" Conduit - How many amps can be put through that?

But will a 3-8 fit through a 3/4" conduit? There are two 90 degree bends to deal with and I'm wondering how hard it will be to get a #8 wire through those bends in a 3/4" conduit. If it will then I'm pretty sure that will be more than enough power for what I want to do.

3/4" Conduit - How many amps can be put through that?

I have a detached garage that has a 3/4" PVC conduit running from the house underground to the garage that is about 15 feet away. I'm wondering how much wire/how many amps I would be able to get to the garage. Will 3 12 gauge wires fit through that (for 3 20 amp circuits), or can one 3-8 wire...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Re: what did you do in your garage today? Very sorry to read that. I think I would have started drinking a whole lot sooner than that. What a bad way to end a weekend.

    Build your own "slatwall"

The hanger part of the french cleat system has to look a lot like the hanger you made except without the aluminum part and with the shorter piece of plywood cut at a 45 degree angle (with the short side of the 45 against the longer piece of plywood). So the longer piece of plywood prevents the...

    Build your own "slatwall"

You make one of the hangers as pictured in the first post (that one with the two pieces of plywood and a piece of aluminum on the back) and then you put some screws or nails or dowels or a store-bought hook on the other side. You can also get creative and make a hook out of wood that holds your...

Lurker from Waterloo Region, SW Ontario

Hello from the northern part of Waterloo Region. I've been lurking around here for a few months after having being to the main site a few times though links from other sites. I didn't really find this great forum until I followed a link to lilscorpion's tool organization thread. PC06, we...
