Problem parking the truck in the new garage...

Mkay, how would you support the mirror, make the adjustable brackets and KNOW it won't come crashing down on top of your pride and joy? Feel free to draw up some schematics, parts list, locations to purchase parts, cost of said parts, etc...I'll consider them. Quite frankly I'd pay $40.00 for...

    POR 15 floor epoxy

Value, I'm sorry to hear about your problems, I'm guessing I was VERY lucky in the fact I had a virgin floor to work with, the pad was poured 6 months prior to my application of the Floor Armor and it wasn't used at all, until after the product was allowed to cure for a couple of weeks. To...

PLYMOUTH :shocking:LOL But, as you can tell I do have a warm spot for both Pontiacs and Dodges/Plymouths :) Thanks for all the good comments fellas, I appreciate them! The wife and I worked pretty hard on it, it came together pretty much as I envisioned it.

Problem parking the truck in the new garage...

When this was previously suggested, I started Googling...found this: http://www.reflectionproducts.com/flat-mirror.htm#Swivel I think one of these might work...still weighing/researching options though, thanks for the input.

Problem parking the truck in the new garage...

I REALLY like this idea, it's not permanent, it doesn't cost much and very easy to build and it's nearly fool proof (no matter who's parking the truck...if you know what I mean). I also like the mirror idea, I just don't have a clue where to get one (I'll be Googling that one). The roll pan...

Problem parking the truck in the new garage...

...with the wall cabinets in place, I can BARELY get my full sized truck to fit inside (length is the problem not width). I tried to take the truck size into account when I hung the cabinets, but if I had mounted them high enough to completely clear the hood/tailgate, I'd have needed a step...

Finally got the garage done today...

Thanks! It took about 1 month of off days to get the garage done the way I wanted it. I was lucky though, we didn't move into the house until the garage was nearly finished (the floor, painting, electrical outlets and 20 overheard lights were done) so I didn't have any clutter to move...

Finally got the garage done today...

...well as done as ANY garage ever is, LOL. I'm still waiting on my workbench, I was going to build one, but thought a Craftsman model would actually fit/look better, considering all the other Craftsman items I have. I have been reading/learning a lot and used quite a few ideas from this site...

    Battery charger recommendations - Dayton??

I've successfully used Battery Minder for several years, their a trickle charge type, that will NOT fry your battery...no matter how long their used. I use the BatteryMinder 12117 Model: http://www.batteryweb.com/batteryminder-details.cfm?model=12117 For normal battery chargers, I like and use...

por 15 deluxe vs basic kit.. what advantage??

Correct...after I purchased the kit, I found a website that sold custom color chips...any color you want. I bought a 10lb bag of those (they only come in 10lb bags or variations there of) so I didn't use any of the POR-15 chips.

por 15 deluxe vs basic kit.. what advantage??

I can't answer all your questions, but I just finished my floor with the POR-15, see the main POR-15 thread, last page. The floor without the clear coat is quite glossy, please look at my picture page (link in my signature line) and note the 1st coat of POR-15, especially seeing how your not...

    POR 15 floor epoxy

How high of a gloss did you want? If you note this photo: http://picasaweb.google.com/KnightFire01/NewHomeInCharlesTownWVBeingBuilt/photo#5100175204074231234 Look at the sink and it's mirror image on the floor, take note of the radon pipe and it's image in the floor, the cement below the dry...

    POR 15 floor epoxy

Just to update everyone on my garage and the POR-15 flooring. I wanted to embed these into the message, but didn't have time to re-size the photos to allow for it...sorry. Here is a shot of the bare garage floor...

    POR 15 floor epoxy

BreBar21: I did indeed use the 1 gallon of dark grey on the right hand side of the garage, to the right of the expansion joint. You can see a slight variance in color when you compare the two sides. However the lighting was really bad and the sun was making it difficult to take accurate shots...

    POR 15 floor epoxy

Yes you indeed you did warn us/me :lol_hitti Sadly I only checked the SKU numbers and the paint color codes, they all matched. Your advice should be well heeded by all who purchase these kits. OPEN EACH gallon of product to ensure it's compliance with your order. I've received word back from...

    POR 15 floor epoxy

I put down the POR15 Floor over this past weekend and I had some problems. I purchased the 3.5 car deluxe kit from the POR-15 Depot a couple of weeks ago and the speed at which I got the product was amazing. As stated I put down the product this last weekend. The problems, I was shorted 2...
