My restored New England garage WITH HEAT!

The real star of the show however is the little heater I put up. It runs on 220, and is VERY economical. My garage has been a comfortable 55-60 all winter. Basically, running the garage at this tempature all season long without turning it off or on or adjusting the tempature (except for maybe...

My restored New England garage WITH HEAT!

"Looks great. Really like the RPU also. But I have a question. Why did you go through all that hell of hanging sheetrock up in the ceiling and not to the joists?" I was going to do that originally, but thought that the garage would seem too "tight". It makes sense from a labor point of view as...

My restored New England garage WITH HEAT!

I also installed about 32 new AC boxes and switches all hooked up with some nicely disquised ramex. I didnt take pictures of that, but figured I'd tell you guys. All of the ramex was affixed to the walls with insulated "staples". Much of it neatly placed and hidden under molding and trim. I...

My restored New England garage WITH HEAT!

After I sanded the sheet rock and primed the rock (and the bead board) I trimmed out all the windows, the edges, corners, areas where the sheet rock met the bead-board in the main garage, the garage doors and anything else. This is where my "low budget fix" cost me some money. I figured by this...
