    I use old rubber truck mud-flaps to set my tools on, they are small enough so that when they get dirty you can remove one take it outside hose it off and bring it back in without having to remove all the tools for a clean-up.

    buzzworth... you are not the only one with a restored Log Cabin, my parents bought this in 1960 or 1961 and it is where I spent most of my summers, we rebuilt it in the mid 90's and added a bathroom to the back and central air and heat, my baby sister lives in it now.

    Thomas.. you can use "gasket sealer" to keep the screws from backing out, and if you ever need them out they are not hard to remove. Chris did you get the "P.M." I tried to send you?

    Now we know what is taking so long about finishing the Walker Jack, we see the "Tester's" paint on the bench, it takes a long time to paint a jack with those little bottles and brushes.:lol2::lol2::lol::lol:

    I think that anyone that takes his Anvil for a nightly walk shouldn't have any trouble handling that bench-top.:bounce::bounce::bounce: Great work the bench is more of a piece of furniture and the quality of workmanship is unsurpassed.

    Turn a grove at each end for an o-ring (rubber) then press it in and it can be easily removed if ever needed.

    Thomas something to help you put the wheel-caps back on. If you can freeze the wheel with the bearings in place heat the caps and you can put them on by hand ,then when they reach the same temperature the wheel expands and the cap shrinks and you have a tight hold.I use outboard motor...

    That is an engine like the "flat head" V8 that was found in the shop, look back at about page 82 ( I think) and you can see his engine and the parts, the clean-out plugs were not used on these engines, the casting-sand was cleaned out through the water-pump openings.
