Replace a switch with a receptacle?

You have two three way switches. In the box you want to tap into to run an outlet, you need to find out if there is an "always hot" black wire. To explain... in one of the switch boxes there will be a cable that contains a black and a white wire. That wire carries the incoming power, and that...

    Wire cleaner

Have you thought to try Brasso or something like that. I used to dip corroded copper pennies in that and they came out like new. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

Seal junction between concrete patio and house foundation

If the "crack" is down into the concrete, there is a great product called self leveling concrete caulk or something similar. Uso foam backer rod if the gap is deep. Use a regular caulk gun, and it will come out with a more liquid consistency than regular caulk. It will flow to fill the gap and...

    Sheetrock Lift

For sheetrock, I agree that you should start at the top sheet and work down. However, for OSB, I don't see why it would matter. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

    GFI random pops

When they are working correctly, a GFCI will trip when there is a ground fault (hence the name, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). A common ground fault would be something like a hair dryer dropped into a sink full of water. The GFCI senses the current coming in on the hot wire and going out on...

Replacement Suggestions for Craftsman Project Center

Just chatted with sears. They are out of stock now, but will be in next week. I told them the zip code was 83854. They said to come back next week and order it through the chat on that page, and it will be delivered in 4 days after the order. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

    Appliance guys, frigidaire

If you have a multimeter, go on RepairClinic.com, put in your model number, and there are usually videos on how to diagnose the issue. Unless it is an emergency, I always try to order from them as a kind of "thank you" for the education they provide. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

    LED conversion

Sorry to jump in, but are there directions on how to remove the ballast wiring and convert to direct wiring for the LED tubes? I would love to convert to LED's also, but without the ballasts. Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

    Appliance guys, frigidaire

Certainly not an expert, but I had a similar problem. Turns out that my defrost thermostat was the problem. Mine was clipped on to the coils behind the freezer panel. Simple fix, and the refrigerator and freezer have been working fine since. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
