Garage of all Trades for a Master of None

Finally made some progress... Bought some square tubing to replace the casters on my Snap On box and to better align with the cabinets. Also had to fi the top of the box as it had a 1/4” lip on top. I like it a lot.

Garage of all Trades for a Master of None

No I’m in Denver, that picture was a couple weeks ago. Just this past Monday we got about 7” of snow, albeit it’s all gone now, but we’ve definitely been getting some here and there.

I went on vacation and haven’t had time plus I didn’t want to install and then move again for drywall. Tomorrow morning I’m gonna put up the drywall where these are gonna sit against. Hopefully tomorrow I can update with installed pics!

What tool kit to buy from the Snap-On student excellence program?

Im sure it depends on the dealer but I would say 99% people just pay list price with out questioning it on the tool truck. I was the same way tho, for what ever stupid reason I never even gave it thought. I learned from an old feller to never pay the truck the asking price. I haggled with my...

    Newage Pro 3.0 Advice Needed

I just received mine Thursday, haven’t installed yet but these suckers are definitely heavier than I thought. I ordered a set of tamperproof torx bits that were posted in the Amazon Warehouse Deal thread and they are absolutely rubbish as the British would say. Definitely HF quality there.

    The Green Snap-on Tools ****

Re: The Green Tools **** I gotta find everything. I haven’t had a place for my box in about 4 years so slowly everything made its way out of the tool box and into my cars’ trunk, kitchen cabinets, random closets, friends houses... I do have these tho [emoji23]

    Old School Datsun Bottle Jack

I’m starting to move stuff in to my new garage and while doing so found these two little bottle jacks that had been in the shed for a bit now. Thought I’d show them off, other than the markings, or numbers, they are pretty much identical. One of them was in my 1979 Datsun pick up, and the other...

    Detached workshop and final inspection

Weird. I had a 24x24 detached built a month ago, same deal, electrical done by contractor but no wall coverings. My final inspection was approved same day that the electrician finished. Must just be county specific.
