Lets make an all vintage Snap-on tool picture thread!

Haven't found the model number but this one might not be worth $45 I paid. Got 3 good Snap On sockets and one cracked. Based on the socket date codes I'd guess 1959 to 1965.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Well the hammer is pitted pretty bad just learning technique on something that I'm ok with junking. Also I'm working with dremel and sanding by hand. Would like to have a conditioning belt like the English gent in video Mr. Tool posted.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Between the grass needing to be cut and my commute time doubling time for garage related work was minimal. Was able to reset the tire pressure monitors as relocated the wheels & tires including spare. The unit moved to the spare location was no longer reporting. Moved two tools left out...

Gave in and upgraded my 1/2" impact sockets as the faithful Pittsburgh deep sets had some skips. The really annoying ones were 16mm and 18mm as I have GM vehicles. Also upgraded from Cr-V to Cr-Mo material. Bought the Quinn master set on the deal of the day for 44% off. The set never made it...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Pulled tools out of the garage and completed the oil change on this truck. Started raining right after I got the oil changed so the accompanying tire rotation waited.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I'll probably come back a sand/grind it flat now that I've had a bit to think on it. It needs a new handle too so not ready for use just yet.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Shined up with Swpeet discs just to learn how to use them. Teaching myself cold blueing as well. Just making a couple usable tools look nice so I can learn for perhaps better ones. What I started with for reference.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Located and used the hand truck I inherited from my father to bring the new 1000 pound lift table to the garage and assembled it. Bled the cylinder and resisted the thought of using my wife as weight to load test it. So another day free from divorce proceedings Edit spacing and omitted word

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Breaking out of my self-imposed prison

It's not that big of leap of how better light helps but still stuns me how much it does. Great start and hope those side quest projects can wait until you get your garage organized.

Been waiting for this to go on sale. Smart enough to realize that my old body would benefit but Scottish enough to hold out for a sale. Won't use it every day but when I do it'll be worth the 35% off.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Got this Craftsman machinist tool box from Facebook marketplace. In great shape except for sone Dykem and paint on it. Will clean up and use it for an inside work bench for firearm maintenance tasks. Found out it's a Kennedy clone not a true Kennedy. Guess Emerson made them for Craftsman...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Got the hammer heads out the Evaporust and ran them over the wire wheel. Took about 5 minutes and hand sanded the Machinist hammer with a piece of 320 grit. They are used and abused but can be given another 20 or so years of use. Thinking a bench top belt sander might be on the horizon but I...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Got those two project hammers broken down and wire wheeled before the overnight Evaporust bath. Decided they could stay in until this afternoon. Will polish them before blueing and reinstall the handles.
