    Old Peerless power hacksaw

Old Peerless power hacksaw I inherited but I'm moving and can't take it with me. Great machine, works as it should and I have a bunch of extra blades for it. Very heavy. Runs off 120v.

Carlyle 3/8 Flex head ratchet - flex teeth rounded.

I agree it's a solid ratchet and I love my Carlyle tools, just didn't expect it to happen. My long 1/2 locking flex head Carlyle ratchet was had zero issues and it's seen some borderline abuse.

That's what I plan to do, just was surprised that it happened it's not like I was trying to break something torqued down significantly.

Carlyle 3/8 Flex head ratchet - flex teeth rounded.

It's an 04 CR-V. Yes I didnt think I'd have to specify that it was the bolts that the caliper held onto the bracket with when I said 14mm. They weren't on there that tight and there was no need for a cheater. Just one arm pulling on it and it sheared the teeth. Happened on the 2nd brake into the...

Carlyle 3/8 Flex head ratchet - flex teeth rounded.

I'll try to get some pictures later on. You're right in theory that it should've happened but somehow it did. Maybe there was more play in the head than there should've been? With the head locked in I can push on it slightly now with my hand on the back of the ratchet head and the thing will...

Carlyle 3/8 Flex head ratchet - flex teeth rounded.

Anybody who owns a Carlyle 3/8" locking flex head ratchet ever have the teeth that determines the position the head sits in round off/strip? I was using it yesterday doing all 4 brakes on my sister in laws car and just breaking 14mm caliper bolts made it round the teeth off so it won't stay in...

Agreed. Carlyle is a much more aesthetically pleasing wrench than the Channel lock.

    Channellock wrenches same as carlyle?

Fedwrench usually I agree 100% with you however we just differ on this topic. Look at the price difference between Carlyle and Channel lock. You shouldn't expect to have a top tier chrome on your wrenches at that price however the actual wrench itself in composition and tooling is the same to...

    DeWalt ASD combo wrenches

For whatever reason,Stanley stopped production of the DeWalt anti slip combination wrenches which were very nice and now only have a standard smooth open end on their combo wrenches. I'm wondering if anybody knows/has access to the random sizes that don't come in the 10 piece sets such as...

    Show off your.... Carlyle Tools!!!

I own both the P90 fixed head and locking flex 72t in 3/8 and 1/2. The only thing I can think of is the thickness of the head because of the qr button? I say that without actually measuring the thickness of the heads so I could be totally wrong on that. However I can tell you that regardless of...
