Moving vehicles and utility trailer about property - how best?

I've seen these as I mentioned. I've only seen them on paved lots. For the trailer it would be great but towing a car? Hmmm, don't know about that as they need the/a weighted tongue.

Moving vehicles and utility trailer about property - how best?

A three wheeled dolly supports the trailer tongue. I can pull by hand if empty. For the auto I use a spiral stake planted in the dirction I need to go.

2800 lbs. Would be a great excuse for a 4 wheeler. Could do other things. But sadly those like tractors are price prohibited. I'd like to stay around $2k or less.

Moving vehicles and utility trailer about property - how best?

At times I need to move a vehicle or small utility trailer empty and full about the grassy yard. Lawn tractors are apparently undersized and I've no need for a compact tractor. I've seen tools about the size of a walk behind mower that use car batteries that can move large camper trailers...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Started reloading. Enjoyable and relaxing plus for me at 500 rounds the equipment is paid for. That won't take long as I'm well on my way. FYI for me savings is a little over 50% per round. I shoot match grade. At present I'm doing 6.5 mm Remington Magnum (Ammo no longer available) and 6...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Found some wheels for my No. 1 tool the trash can. Everything in my small garage is on wheels so I can quickly and easily rearrange space. The trash can dollys were too expensive. So I recycled the bottom of my old office chair that got replaced today. The shape of the trash can's allows it...

Kerosene and propane heater CO2 concerns and numbers. My experiment.

About a 90 second run with door down. Inside air 45 - 50°. Outside mid 30s. Two ceiling fans and an 19" oscillating fan sweeping the area. Heater is pointed 90° to the meter aimed at an opposite wall. CO2 quickly climbed. Once the meter finished it's 30 second startup and displayed...

Kerosene and propane heater CO2 concerns and numbers. My experiment.

Agree. I thought of it but it didn't seem wise in an attached garage. Thus the question to my engineering friend. As he reminded me it comes down to a dilution/addition equation. I used them to compute the necessary boron or water to add to the reactor to achieve a desired result. As well...

Kerosene and propane heater CO2 concerns and numbers. My experiment.

Guys, lets not get so hung up on the name. Does it matter what they are called or what they cause? My apologies for perhaps the misnomer. Rlit and Will pump the brakes. This isn't meant to become a discussion on the practices of business or "who's got the biggest fan". Did either of...

You got it. It's an old probably obsolete term.

Kerosene and propane heater CO2 concerns and numbers. My experiment.

CO gas is produced by an improper flame or incomplete combustion. So CO2 is the primary concern. Kindly provide the source for your comments regarding commencial ventilation requirements. I'd like to read it. And it sounds like they too are aware of and sensitive to carbon dioxide gas...

Kerosene and propane heater CO2 concerns and numbers. My experiment.

Many know the by products of burning kerosene and propane are water vapor and CO2. We are warned to never operate a heater inside and they come with explicit ventilation requirements. I like numbers and wanted to know the real effects of, in my case a kerosene heater on a room. In this case...
