Well said, a lathe is a lathe one matter the size. When I worked at the navyyard in the early 90's we had new lathes that cost $105,000 apiece sitting beside old war lathes. We would only use the new one's if all the old ones were being used. We ran three shift, I can't imagine how many hours...

I have two of those, I never thought about putting wheels on them. Always dragging them around the bench to get it just right.
