I am betting it is 1962 model. Maybe not it has different tool rest then mine.

I do believe in 1962 that anything over 1/4 HP had side covers, thus the 1/4 HP was the only pre block model without them. :dunno:

It is a craftsman grinder stand and I have no idea on the weight.

I have not used it with a grinder, I am going to put my 1962 1/4 HP pre block on it. Just have not had time to finish it. I have a pre block just like the one bluebolt just purchased. Also mine does not have side covers.
