    Recommend me a Jigsaw

That's what i keep hearing... There is a used equipment shop near me that has this exact Dewalt jigsaw for sale at $75 bucks and looks to be in great condition. I am debating asking them if they will trade it to me for a (like new, minus the battery) spare Dewalt 18V XRP circular saw that i...

$369 is the best i have seen... Maybe someone here at GJ has gotten lucky before and had a store manager double down / stack coupons or something...? ~Tejaas~

    The future of angle grinders?

I'll admit to doing some reckless stuff with tools/machinery - i'll even admit to cutting plate with an O/A torch in flip flops.. But the angle grinder is the one tool that gets 100% of my attention, every time. I've seen too many scenarios that could have come out of a 'Saw' movie. I may not...

    Show me your ANVIL

Actually, it was just a pared down live oak trunk section i had drying in the feed shed... The squared edge was a slighty artistic way of cutting out a nasty split that originated at the edge of a crumbling knot down on the bottom corner... The plan is/was to actually use my hot iron and add my...

    what's the best socket holder???

You have the patience of a saint for individually shadowing your sockets! Respect. I was an Aviation mech/tech for a long time and had to shadow my tools... But i cheated - I shadowed my socket organizers!

    what's the best socket holder???

The Westling socket trays are second to none in my book, and are available in many options. Very small footprint, too. They wont eat up all your drawer space like a lot of the other options. ~Tejaas~

    Show me your ANVIL

Interesting! Below is a known Columbian, complete with the Triangle 'C' combo that you are aware of... But if you notice, on the other side and down between the front & rear righthand feet you seem to have the same casting mark as pictured below as well. And instead of a 'C' - this one has an...

    Terrible smell from Craftsman screwdrivers

That was 2-3 years ago. Still no stink, and no negative aftereffect on the gun.

    Terrible smell from Craftsman screwdrivers

I ditched the Craftsman Screwdrivers long ago, but had the exact same stink with this little guy: Dipped the POP gun in some distilled white vinegar that i was soaking some old files in - hasn't smelled since. ~Tejaas~

Military Surplus No Engraving and Tools on eBay

This is because Uncle Sam requires the unit to repair/replace ('DX') them using PMSKOT. Here is the program page : http://www.peocscss.army.mil/PdMSKOT.html (You'll see the 'tools' link down at the bottom... but it doesn't really matter, because you'll need NIPR access and CAC credentials...
