Heaviest of the lot, too. The Gedore, Ko-ken and Wurth weigh in around 1 lb 1.2 - 1.3 oz; the USAG 1 lb 8 oz; and Williams 1 lb 10 oz.

Good to hear that it should loosen up with use. As is, it's not bad, just more than the two on the extreme left. The Williams, however, is in a class by itself. (Perhaps, that should be a log scale I have them on.) Maybe it will improve with use, too. This is the new, out-of -the-box...

Half-inch ratchets purchased over the last several months. From left to right, arranged in increasing back drag according to my subjective reckoning.

    Underground Lair of the Squankum

I bought one of these for my 98 Corolla based on your recommendation. Mine came from JBTools. I didn't mind not finding it on Amazon. It's not the cheapest funnel out there but it sure makes the weekly ( ) oil top off easier.

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

I just put this in a cart at Ko-ken USA @$130. Toolsandtwisties discount code gets 10% off and shipping was free. The final cost was ~$117 before tax. The same item at is ~$90 at Epstein's, and there will be a relatively small but reasonable shipping charge. Not $150 for me but still more...

Were you thinking about one of the small Toyo boxes? I did buy one on an Epstein's Day spree. I'll check it out. By the way, the box you did link to is, indeed, a gem. Tempting. Wondering what the shipping would be.

I can verify the 0.31 lbs. value... it weighed 4.95 oz. on my kitchen scale. For comparison, I recently purchased the 3/8" spinner handle by Tone (with a 6" or so shaft, plastic handle, and 3/8" Fe drive on the top of the handle). It weighs 7.35 oz. (0.46 lbs.). Both have a good heft to them...
