I love my old Craftsman 36T ratchets. They’re not the best, not the most useful and not the most comfortable, but they’re what I grew up using. They were also in my first tool set I ever bought from Sears. I’m glad SBD/Craftsman took care of you! That’s a very nice ratchet!

Picked up a few New Old Stock goodies from eBay last week. It’s a little too cold in the garage today, so I took this picture from our basement coffee table. All GearWrench, including the NAPA hex bit set which is also rebranded GearWrench. I miss the old GearWrench when the tools were red.

I'm looking at your aluminum socket rails on Amazon. Are the end caps (I guess that's what you call them?) on the rails nice and tight? I bought similar rails years ago from another company and they slipped off and disappeared.

I forgot to mention that I recently purchased the 12pc. Olsa flex head ratcheting wrench set from Amazon. Most of them are still new, but the few I’ve used so far have been fantastic. They came in handy replacing the cracked third brake light on our 2020 Malibu.

I’m on the Craftsman V20 platform and have the same impact. It’s seriously awesome! I really like the Craftsman V20 tools I have and they take a lot of abuse. That’s an incredibly nice gift! He will enjoy it!

Exactly. I thought they'd be handy to have in certain situations. I usually use a hex bit socket on a ratchet, but sometimes it's just too much of a pain.

Ordered some parts for the Z28 and picked up this metric T-Handle set from Summit Racing. Also found this thermometer/hygrometer for $10 at the hardware store. 31 degrees is the current outside temperature, so 55 in the basement garage is great!
