    No control joints in slab?

The control joints are the thinnest spots in concrete to control cracks correct? Run a grinder/saw over it and make some control joints if you like. I would assume that’s how it should be done anyway

How do I seal T-111 to prevent rott?

If you paint both sides water will get in and stay in. Used or new motor oil from what i hear works great. Use something oil based on the outside only. If water can’t touch it then it cant rot correct? Go with big overhangs. My dad built a cabin with all that in mint in about 1980-81 and still...

    Tool bag/box recommendations

I have the same tool bag and im not real fond of it eather. I prefer a plastic toolbox that seals and can ride in my truck and stay dry inside. I have this one https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-26-in-Connect-Rolling-Tool-Box-Black-228224/300862598 I have the dewalt version of this rigid...

    Cordless Impact Wrench opinion

I have the dewalt 899 high torque and I love it but as stated it is mot as powerful as the Milwaukee high torque. As torque test said the new compact mid torque will do most things. I had a craftsman c3 and it was rated with 300ft lb and 3000ipm and it did probably 75% of what I needed and the...

    Leaf shredders?

I mulch with my push mower. My parents had a plug in toro leaf blower that you could take the fan cover off and attach a tube to mulch and blow them into a bag. It was a huge pain so we would start by the house with the rider and drive in circles till the leaves ended up in the woods

    Camping Hammer

I use a mit hammer that came with our motorhome. Any smooth face 20oz is probably the best all around hammer. I would not use the back of a hatchet. You will be swinging it close to your face, could slip or smack a child playing. I suppose if you have a good leather cover over the head it might...

HF Quinn Flare Nut wrench set experience?

I seen them at hf and there probably worth a try. Only cheap ones i have had decent luck with is the ones that are thicker ones like those quinns. I now have a set of sk but to tell you the truth an old craftsman raised panel wrench works pretty good. Here in Michigan there always rusty by the...

Do I need compressed air throughout my shop?

I upgraded to a 60 gallon in my 24x24 garage and i ran about 6ft of copper to a dryer then a hose reel with about a 50ft hose. It works good for me. If i had a barn I would probably have 2-4 air outlets

    cordless tool storage question

I highly doubt you would have any issues. My garage is only heated when im out there in the winter and all my cordless stuff is out there with batteries. As long as the stuff is dry when you put it away and the shed is dry. If you leave a tub of stuff in a camper or garage it’s always stayed dry...
