The only thing I see that would possibly help out Is a loop between the home and shop aprons. For turning trailers around. I have this issue at my home, and a loop Makes all the difference. Swing into the house drive, hit the loop , then back into the shop.

The accordion method works great, I secured mine by laying some Simple cheap 1” fir strips on the floor , to get the bottom off the floor.2 strips and then one at the top Nailed to the top of the doors..

Braun, but what ever you choose, get some of that aerosol cleaner / oil. And clean regularly. It will last a lot longer...

OK that was a stupid question, i just figured 1x4 furring strips VS 3/4 plywood ripped into 4" strips. the plywood i feel would be more stable, the pine 1x4 tend to split easily, and the cost was fairly comparable..

ok did you just overlay the framing , or block in between the studs.
