Help please - How many light fixtures on one outlet

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the help and apologize for being so ignorant. I bought a home electrical book today that was published by Home Depot. While I was there I saw some four-bulb T5 high output fixtures and man, they are BRIGHT! But they are also kind of expensive. I can buy five...

Help please - How many light fixtures on one outlet

So I read Dr. Johnny Fever's fluorescent light review and decided on these but I am wondering how many fixtures I can plug into one outlet if I plug them into one of those outlet strip surge things? It says it is energy efficient so maybe it doesn't use too much electricity. Do you think four...

Vintage/Recreated INTERIOR Service Station Photo Thread

How about a vintage or vintage style interior photo thread? I visited Vintage Ford in Sacramento a few weeks ago and WOW. I was expecting a small counter with a warehouse in back and instead found a huge showroom with a vintage coffee shop and recreated hotrod shop inside. I really fell in...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Yes, they are Craigars mated to Mickey Thompson 29 x 18.50-15LT Sportsman tires and a narrowed Chevy rear end. I plan to replace it all if anybody in the SF bay or Sacramento area is interested in a trade of some kind. Hoping to get a 9" rear end and narrower rear wheels and tires.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I am trying to decide whether or not I should have it rebuilt or replace with a B&M or TCI unit. It is leaking from three or four places and was slipping so it will be a big job.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I pulled the transmission tunnel off my pickup and tried to decide whether or not I want to change out the TH350 myself or have it done at a local shop. I have it up on high jackstands and I was thinking about buying a transmission jack and attempting it but I don't have any help. Not sure if...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I bought this F1 a few months back. It is an older home-built streetrod with a 350 smallblock. The brakes were horrible so I replaced the front drums with disks and a boosted master. Unfortunately the engine has a big cam so I had o run an electric air pump for the brakes. Works very well...

This thread is awesome! I really like the jack stand cabinet. I had an old gym locker that I put my jack stands in but they didn't fit very well.

What projects have done with your grandsons?

I think it is great that you are planning this and I think they will enjoy the MGB. I did a lot of stuff with my grandpa but the memory of him and I rebuilding my Vespa when I was a teenager is one of my most cherished memories. Well, that and him letting me take a nip of moonshine that his...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Re: what did you do in your garage today? Busy week. I have been working every night in the garage after I get off work since the house has been so hot during this heat wave. I cleaned up the MG 1100 to get it ready to sell. I also did some more bodywork on the Lambretta and the MGB V6 project.

    The Spare Parts Company

It is unfortunate that our schools push academics to the point that young people grow up with the impression that following a career path that they actually enjoy is somehow wrong. I am so jealous. This guy is genuinely happy and you will never see that in an office worker. Not in a million...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Re: what did you do in your garage today? I worked on my TV project. It is a 1953 Packard Bell model 2723 that I picked up a few months ago. I took the insides out and replaced it with a 24 inch LCD. It was pretty straight forward - I put a bunch of screw eyes around the opening then used heavy...
