I saw your other post of the box - awesome collection! I have my 4 original Aurora cars - a GT-40 and Cobra Daytona are two of them. Get a track setup on the dining room table and get racing!

Nice bikes! More than you know. Lived in Castle Rock a few years. Jeeped all over the place!

Love that sign! A good friend made me one for my track. The logo is a rip-off from Continental Divide Raceways, in Castle Rock, Colorado. My track is called Palmer Divide Raceways as I lived on the Palmer Divide in Monument, Colorado for years. The CDR ran Trans-Am/USAC/Drags, etc for a good...

If you looked at an Ogilvie track, that would have been about that much. I never really did the commercial scene - couldn't afford it as a kid and had my HO, so I stayed out of the fray. A friend has a commercial one he restored - a huge Blue King. You almost need a warehouse for it or a...

Thanks! They are LED - standard bulbs in soft white - 60w equivalent if I recall correctly. They are brighter than the photo makes them out to be.

I think many of us share that same or similar memory. I've been racing since I was 5. HO, then switched to 1/32 in 2002.

A few more of the garage as it has progressed - here with the barn lights on: Some of the PVC I removed: The track being re-assembled: The track is now braided and functional. The large TV at the end is for the computerized timing system. NOW I can start getting the landscaping back...

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT My Slot Car Man Cave

I’ve been a long-time lurker here and haven’t shown anything but have mostly enjoyed seeing other’s shops. A bit of background on me – long time car/slot car enthusiast. I’ve restored two 1968 Chevelles over the years but sold my last on back in 2008 and I decided to focus on my 1:32 slot car...

Mr Cool 36k BTU Inverter Drive Control BOard

I installed a 24k unit (different board), but had my outdoor board fail in June after 10 months. It is still under warranty and is the second time it failed. It took about 2 weeks for Mr. Cool to respond, but they eventually did and submitted a warranty part request to that department. It...

    Hello from Florida

Just moved here from Colorado. Have a home with a 30x40 detached garage. All cinder-block, has a bathroom, 200a service, and 10' ceilings. Completely unfinished. I am planning on using it to replace my basement slot car room. I have a large homage to Riverside slot car track for 1:32 slot...
