Hot and cold water spigot for inside garage?

I had my plumber put in lines for a hot and cold water spigot for a wash bay I built inside my three bay garage. My plumber said that I need to find a 8" hot and cold water spigot. I guess that means that the lines are 8" apart. Can anyone help me? I searched and couldn't find an answer...

    Which Garage Door

I just had six (6) Amarr 3000 doors installed. I had cedar planks stapled and glued to the outside to match the design. The 3000 has great R value. I put the cedar on the outside just enhance the look. Spaggs

    Concrete Thickness help

Mohawk recommends 4" minimum with 4000 psi concrete. If you haven't poured yet, I'd recommend more, since if you pour at 4", there is no guarantee that you will have a consistent 4" layer all the way across. I went way overboard with a minimum of 6" with 12" footers where the posts stand...

    Highest R-Value Garage Doors?

I got the Amarr 3000 and I got the doors on time. My insulation is the standard steel/polyurathane/steel, but I also stapled and glued cedar with a good sealer to the outside. The cedar added to the R value and the doors look really cool. Spaggs

    Wolverine Unresponsive

I have found Fred to be very responsive. I had all sorts of questions for Fred and he answered every one of them and then had some suggestions on top of that. By both email and telephone, Fred helped make my decision. I'm coating a 2,000 sq ft garage floor this month. I feel a lot more...

    Worlds Most Beautiful Garages

If you had a chance to ask the owners of these garages any questions, they probably would say something like "I don't know, I just wrote a check." It would be nice to hear from the guys that built it. Spaggs

    Planning for a 2-post lift?

I have a Mohawk A-7 now. It is a great lift and recommend it for vehicles under 7000 lbs. I am moving soon and am installing a Mohawk System 1, which will lift 10,000 lbs, because I'm tired of using a hand jack and jack stands on my Ford Excursion. I've heard that both systems are reliable...

    Ridgid Shopvac

Last week I got one from the Home Depot. I got the biggest one they had. Very impressed with the suction power and the thing is quiet, too. With an extra filter, I think it was about $180. Bottom line: I like it! Spaggs

    I need some help, fast.

I got my plumber to put in some 3/4" copper pipe for my compressor. I have three outlets that run a total of app. 30 ft. Should this pipe be angled in such a way that water will drain back to its origination? Where should I put a valve for drainage or should I use a filter and where should I...

    LED Replacement Bulbs?

Thanks for the input. I plan on having this garage for the next 30yrs. If the bulbs will last that long, then wouldn't be worth it, or do you think they will go out before that. I was under the impression that they last for, like, forever. Spaggs
