What is Craftsman's pricing strategy now?

A lot of things have changed since 1970. Words cannot describe the logic fail of comparing an 18 tooth 1970's Craftsman ratchet to a modern 72 tooth Craftsman ratchet.

What is Craftsman's pricing strategy now?

The equivalent Snap-On is $165.00 and on backorder. The Craftsman seems to be priced about right for a 3/8th flex head extra long prosumer ratchet.

I so remember those cheap $5 flea market sets. My friends dad used to sell them. They were all made in Taiwan.

    WiFi Extenders

Run a Cat5(e) or Cat6 cable. A hacker can sit in-between the house and your workshop and broadcast an access point with the same name as yours. You computer will connect to it because it will have a stronger signal and will not require a password. Once that happens, the hacker can record...

    Lowe’s not stocking Craftsman?

Their Craftsman prices are too high. The new Craftsman red they use does not match the old Craftsman red and makes the brand look cheap. How does this https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-289-Piece-Standard-SAE-and-Metric-Polished-Chrome-Mechanics-Tool-Set/1000595129 Compete with (I just...

No more Sears in my area.

I went with 320 piece from Sears online. This is a big case for a "portable" toolbox. Tools all look good, nice finish. The plastic box is ****. I was expecting a 1 piece blow-molded case, this was multiple pieces of very thin blow-molded plastic held together by small bolts. Sears...

No more Sears in my area.

Went to my local Sears to buy a tool kit for my stepson and they were closing. I wanted to get him https://www.sears.com/kd-tools-telescoping-mirror/p-00999030000P?plpSellerId=Sears&prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3 as his first tool set. Too late to buy online. Any ideas on a decent quality...
