    Better grip for sure, after you drop the wrench into a pan of gear oil. I can't say where I've learned that from....:headscrat

    Anybody else here a fan of the satin finish that the old thorsen wrenches had? I am, I dislike high polish chrome tools too flashy :shocking:. They make me want to keep them in the tool box and stare at them instead of using them.

    Its a garage built on a slab that's only 2.5"-3" thick no foundation other than a base layer of gravel.

    Previous owner of our property never installed gutters on the garage and now I'm left with a void to fill. The slab has hair line cracks, nothing too major yet. I have bounced a lacrosse ball on the slab and do notice a tone difference where the void is. My plan as of now is to get gutters and...

    Thanks! I wanted something that fit with the forum and what I do. Looks like most of us on here "wrench" to save a buck or two, or have a classical relationship/viewpoint with the goods, aka Cars, Tools, etc., that we own and use to make like better.

    My order was pretty low, but it was all I needed for now. A 36mm impact socket and a missing 10mm 12pt 1/2" drive socket that went missing from an old set.
