I have got both but proximity to the rest of my garage stuff is an issue since I am doing this in sections and it always rains every time I put stuff outside.

So I ground it down with a 7 inch grinder and diamond grinding wheel. Only thing is that there is white dust all over the surface. Vacuuming isn't doing a great job at removing it. What is the best technique to remove all of this dust? Thanks.

UPDATE: I used my SUV jack handle in there and it's about 60% better. It's not solid by any means but much thicker. The pole is shorter as well.

How does it make no sense whatsoever? You are reaching now. Can a handle not wear out to the point where it no longer turns consistently and/or effectively? Have you not ever seen a 12 point socket not be able to do it's job pushing you over to a 6 point socket? The Amazon handle I linked to it...
