I have only one vessel screwdriver. It is a silver handled impact screwdriver, that has the impact mechanism in the plastic handle. It is awesome. It works great and if something is hard to break free you can tap on thr handle with a hammer and it turns it into an impact driver. Awesome stuff...

In my opinion at about 17mm 6pt vs 12 pt does not matter anymore other than the 12 will be more convenient, and sometimes depending on the situation one can have more bite than the other, kind of funny how that is.

Find another Snap-On dealer. Your service by the dealer is extremely important when it comes to warranty. Not that you could not bypass him, (you could go around him).
