    Blocking the sun isn't as important as getting air flow through the condensor, if it doesn't have enough air flow, it will trip hp cut-out, as you will be running a very high head pressure, 410a already runs high.........blocking air flow may cause premature failure of compressor........just my...

    45,000 btu is most likely the rating for nat. gas, running on lp it will be around 36,000.:thumbup:

    Did it ask for insulation type/r-value, how many windows/r-value, directions windows face, size and location of overhead and service doors, air changes/hour? If so, you're probably pretty close.:thumbup:

    We install Mitsubishi, with out a proper load calc., it's just a guess on what size you need, to small= no cooling, to big= cooling, but improper dehumidifying

    That one says, "for use with 20 lb. tank". Is your gas pressure set right at the unit?
