Why are S-K adjustable wrenches so expensive?

Channellocks are Irega's of Spain. I can buy Crescent (as brand) adjustable wrench - marked as Original since 1907... From earlier I have Diamond Horseshoe... Being on this forum there is almost an conclusion - only maker of adjustables, at least until recently - 'cause they are gonna be shut...

    Beta Utensili

Joao, are you thinking of Beta as just italian produced? Because I don't think they produce all of their tools...

    Facom

Hmmm... I'm not sure it matters... Try with another browser - page is popping nicely for me

    Looking for Adjustable Wrenches

I could and should add two more - Japan's TOP and Lobster... Besides aforementioned Bahco and Irega, really only decent choice for high quality adjustables.

Geo9, are there any greek quality tools manufacturers?

    Beta Utensili

Well, it could be little... Harsh. Would you post some pics of such tools?

    Facom

Don't think/believe so... But, I do believe it could have something with 'other than german european quality tools' feeling... Especially having in mind our mediterranean friends

    Facom

It would be good to see if there is anyone that has mishmash of good old and new quality Facom items... Are there, now, some significant difference? I do have some number of items - and they are good, really good... But maybe not just right there

    New Wrenches (Gedore 1 B-020 8-32mm Set)

In digits 510 and 155 - pretty similar... Permutation out of mistake?

    New Wrenches (Gedore 1 B-020 8-32mm Set)

Well, sure is killer deal - it would kill me... May, as well, try with truckies. For latter - also for Stahlwille. Friction of satin tools is more occurring - primary thing on oily environment.

    New Wrenches (Gedore 1 B-020 8-32mm Set)

Back to opening post, and really important idea of typing: those are really pretty looking wrenches... I set myself on completing Gedore No.6 double open end wrenches set, well, that may last a while... There has been at least one post about affordability of set as OP has bought... So, how much...

    New Wrenches (Gedore 1 B-020 8-32mm Set)

Because for all the ooohhs and aaahhs when you look at them... Can not do that when they are not clean :bounce:

    New Wrenches (Gedore 1 B-020 8-32mm Set)

I guess you made a trivial mistake... Gedore is almost exclusively coated in satin chrome finish... They mastered it, and can be taken as an example.

My Sears is looking really sad

Got to put my particle of steam - universe is, presumably, spheric, or roundly shaped, infinite and indefinite, without start and end, unimanigable and endless... So, any part/icle wholeheartedly makes for its center... And, did we miss out Lassen Forge, as for lass, scots lassie for a girl?

    Tools from the old world

No way those should be wasted... I know that if I could, I would even buy them. Old good steel wire should be just fine... Nothing odd with them. Just keep it if you can

    Tools from the old world

Oh, man... They surely are breathing... Maybe even talking :bounce:

    Tools from the old world

Well, they are all new - but out of two different series... Two of them stick out - I have bought them off of a guy that later became my friend

    Tools from the old world

Well, these are ones... Maybe I reacted too quickly!? Pics are bad, I have took them under... unpleasant conditions. Alongside - larger than manufacturer produced, at least by one wrench - are two open end wrenches... Rahsol, surely

    Tools from the old world

This is like walking with shadow - noon and night (lightless) excluded... I have that set!

    Tools from the old world

Well, you have not missed the place! BTW, great wrenches... Texture is what is commonly known as satin chrome finish - almost exclusively used by german manufacturers
