Don't think/believe so... But, I do believe it could have something with 'other than german european quality tools' feeling... Especially having in mind our mediterranean friends

Back to opening post, and really important idea of typing: those are really pretty looking wrenches... I set myself on completing Gedore No.6 double open end wrenches set, well, that may last a while... There has been at least one post about affordability of set as OP has bought... So, how much...

I guess you made a trivial mistake... Gedore is almost exclusively coated in satin chrome finish... They mastered it, and can be taken as an example.
