No easy way out. You might be best off stripping the VCT off the floor and getting it reasonably smooth. Then, nail or screw down some thin luan right on top of the existing floor. Hey, same goes for robbery, flood, tornado, etc. Always good to have pictures of your stuff. Put them on a USB drive, make a copy, and put that in a safe place. Came in handy when my music gear was stolen.

What a great little tool! I lived in Bridgeport for a few years, 1/4 mile from Bridgeport Machines, where those great milling machines were made. Most multi-tool gadgets aren't sturdy enough for real work, but that one looks fairly stout and at least capable of some light, 'round the house stuff.

I can't read the attachment because it's very small, but I would offer that you consider the size of the stock you intend to work in the shop when deciding where the machines and storage areas go. Nothing worse than having a machine too close to a wall, or other piece of equipment when you need...

I changed the stock battery in my 2007 Dyna. That's right, 10 years and still going strong. The only reason I changed it was because the voltage regulators seem to go when the battery starts to get weak so, whay take the chance. Maybe Dynas are easier on batteries because the engine is rubber...
