Installed it on my bench today with 3 1/2" x 1/2" stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers. I also added a stop warning at 6" out so it does not fall out unexpectedly. I used a new drill bit guide to keep the holes perpendicular. It is out far enough to accommodate long pieces on the front side...
