Best Ratcheting Screwdriver? New to the forum

How can I have problems when installing screws and just getting them started, especially small ones. But that's one. I like knurling on the shaft so I can just spin it with my fingers.

I routinely purchase at brick and mortar stores when I can. I was annoyed that I could not find a retractable power cord to mount on the ceiling with a 12/3 cord without mail order. I was able to find 14 gauge, but I wanted 12. Plenty available, but only by mail. Thankfully I have been able to...

I did assembling no skips sat at the metric... Someone was selling the wrenches that included the 7, 9 and 11. I suspect that he was breaking out a cmmt-99284 and selling the items individually. Since that's the only way I know how to fill the gaps. Similarly, you could get a 9/32, but an...

I had to directly navigate to snapon.com to be able to find those.... Cuz even searching by part number it was not showing them. I need to just install the app... It had me at sep.snapon.com that would not show them. Goodness. Thanks.

Never tried that one. Can you still drop in 1" insert bits or maybe some longer power drive (PD) bits? Or are you stuck with only the bits they include? Idle curiosity.

I like that you can spin the large knurled portion just below the red, that works very well. It is a bit on the heavy side but works remarkably well. I would prefer if it had a full lock position, but the fact that I can manipulate it so well with the large black knurled section means it does...

So there's about 12 there if I counted right? And if he paid $30 a piece that's about $360. If you can sell them for $100 a piece you've got about $1,200. If you can sell them for $150 a piece, you're closer to $2,000. So then after the eBay commission you just about break even...

Did someone say hi speed? That would be when you are very highly caffeinated. Although I will admit that when I'm able to just simply hold the handle and spin the shaft with my fingers, it goes a lot faster than if I'm doing a full-on twisting motion with my hand... And it's one of the...

See I've heard that they bought the tooling and so I expected snap-on to be producing them that looked like it's the malco's. And for a while they had them on their website that looked like them. But this is what they have up on their website and those to me do not look like the eagle grips...

Really? I had no idea... I expected them to be labeled made in the USA... I mean I don't own a pair so I obviously haven't checked them but... Have you tried them? Do you like them? I mean they're like $40 a piece.... I thought they're cheaper. Versions were made in Taiwan. But that was just...

I heard that snap-on was going to start selling what was essentially the malco eagle grips. When I check some time ago I vaguely remember that they had stock from two different vendors, one very pricey one reasonable price. Right now all they have are the reasonable price models. I've never...

I have no idea if they're actually selling, but all the ones that showed up were over $200. These are all new in packaging... So was either people flat out lying about what they were or charging insane prices.

Well that's annoying, they had stock earlier this year.... If you really need a toothless ratcheting screwdriver, here's the one I bought recently https://www.zoro.com/proto-hex-phillips-nutsetter-slotted-bit-8-34-in-drive-size-14-in-num-of-pieces12-j9322/i/G7467031/ And if you've never...

Proto also makes one with a large yellow hollow handle that is pretty amazing if you like the grip. The Rolgear has a better handle (for me) but has no bit storage, at least on the one that I own.

Ironically, the 11/32 is included in the "not overdrive" sets by Craftman. So it is in my 20 piece set (CMMT12108) , a small set on rails that I have. This size is oddly included in the 3/8" overdrive sets that go down to 5/16" with a 3/8" drive (part # 83-823GM; the GM means Gun Metal). One of...

Oh yeah, for certain made in Taiwan. I have a couple that are very similar. My primary interest in the set 9 and similar sets) are for something simple to grab that has a wide variety of bits when I expect to see odd things. I assume that you mean this screwdriver...
