I've installed three of these 4’x8’ racks in my finished garage. I would agree that they are a bit of a pain to install on a finished ceiling. Finding the joists and getting the orientation to work out can be a challenge. It’s no fault of the shelves though. They are incredible! I’d do it again...

I wonder who is buying these US C2 and C3 vises, as I'm sure I'm the exception. I would imagine companies would prioritize their bottom line and get the Tradesman version. Maybe some contracts (i.e. government) require US-sourced parts, or maybe the US purchases can be used as tax write-offs...

I've been looking for a good, used Wilton C2 for over five years now. I found one for $625 and bought it for my brother. Never saw another like it since. I finally have the chance through some discounts to bring the usual $1820 price tag down to $~1300.
