Gerard, Looks like progress to me. I remember you having issues fitting the drill press before, so now you've solved that issue. Keep up the good work!

Woody, I'll be honest.. I didn't know what a "torsion box worktable" was until I googled it. Are you planning to make one? I found this design online (I'm guessing you've seen it, and 10 others and have a cool one picked out already).

Re: The Blue Garage - Bucharest, Romania Bogdan, I say PAINT THEM! :) Hey why not? You'll see them EVERY day..and if you're anything like me, everytime you look at them it will bother you if they're scratched. As for color, heck I'm a bit surprised the cabinets (and the yellow bins) aren't...

Re: Rick's Audi Double Thanks for the info Rick! That craftsman tool box just looked VERY deep in the picture, could have been the angle? Looks like a good box to me though! I'm considering building a bench with two tool boxes loaded in it (remove casters), like the SteveO setup...

Re: Rick's Audi Double Love the pics Rick! Always motivating seeing your garage, and knowing all the work you've put into it. Quick question.. how deep are the drawers on that craftsman tool box on the left in the top picture? And where are the fashionable vans at? ;)

Jake's Projects ...... or, .... How I waste my time

Jake, Just remember.. sh*t happens.. :) You made the most of it. And now you have a bigger more power compressor with a new motor on it! Should last a long time! And it looks like you've made more progress in your garage in the last year than I did..so

Ken, Nice job saving those cabinets. Looks like you'll have ALOT of storage now. And I know how you feel about not having a car loan: we haven't had one for years, and I love it!

    Kyle's Garage Project

Guys, Thanks for the inputs.. I did a search for "moving shed with skids" and found a number of them. This video makes it look pretty easy. So with this in mind, I'll just have the guy with the crane drop it on a set of blocks (to make it easier to get the skids and pipes under).. then jack it...

Sean, Thanks for your reply and the suggestion. Nope, not enough room for a trailer, well unless it was dropped in with the crane..? Which I hadn't thought of until just now while typing this.. Your comment gave Ric and idea. He's going to measure a piece of equipment when he gets home that...

    Kyle's Garage Project

Hey guys..so I made some progress on the shed foundation. I dug it out, then my neighbor was nice enough to take turns hauling the crushed granite back there. I measured and then placed 4 blocks in the ground, leveled them out, and started filling in the rest with the crushed granite. I included...

Whew, I made it! :) I made it thru your entire thread (granted I didn't read every post from everyone, but I did read all of your progress posts). The addition to your shop turned out GREAT. The lift looks VERY handy. The ceiling in my garage is much to low for me to have a lift like that...

Dennis, Well, it looks like spring is hitting us here in AZ now. :) Time for me to plant more things. I hope it warms up there soon for you. In the mean time, take care of the animals (and the kids) while the wife is out of town.

Ken, You sure have some cool signs you make mate! The hotwheels and the sunoco signs turned out very cool! And you did a nice (quick) job on the fire pit..and it's custom! What is the upside down cross deal?

Hello guys, I just realized I've been remiss in posting pictures from our trip to the Grand Canyon while my inlaws were visiting during December (MIL and her hubby from IN, Sister in law from CA and BIL from the Philippines with his 3 kids). The visitors wanted to go hiking here in town...
