OP, as many have already mentioned, don't do a full set a la carte. It'll cost you too much $$$. Get yourself a decent sized set that contains most of the sizes you're loking for and then fill in the holes a la carte.

Good point slopecarver. While there are a lot of accessories and components available to make it more "storage-friendly", it is all gonna cost mucho $$$. Take a look at the stuff at PartsExpress and HomeTech. If you decide not to use the racks, just sell them someplace like avsforum.com.

Does anyone have any experience with this Craftsman C3 line trimmer? I've got several of the other C3 tools and batteries already, so I won't need to worry about running out of juice during a trimming session. My black and decker cordless trimmer just doesn't have the juice to make it around...

I was looking for some foam to use for a similar project and ran into the foamcore stuff but it was so thin I quickly dismissed it as a viable option for my particular application. I never even thought of laminating the stuff into thicker sheets. Good idea. NICE work. Very nice work.

I've been using the SPAX structural screws as well. Very nice to just zip them in with the impact driver. When you factor in the cost of the regular lag bolt + washer, the SPAX are only marginally more expensive. In my opinion, that extra few pennies per screw is well worth it considering you...

it's likely to protect themselves. the last thing the shop wants is a tech working on a customers car with a bad case of "short-timers" disease. if that tech has less than savory morals/ethics, they could do something bad to the customer car knowing full well that the shop will have to deal...
