@dwasifar I’ve been using a Kobalt 6”(?) for work and that thing is so god awful. Backs off literally every single turn. It is probably going in the scrap pile soon. The other one I was using got stolen so had to turn to this POS I had laying around.

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Shakenfake's Small Shop

Maiden voyage yesterday. Two trips around the block. Brakes still need work and a little aggravating. Needs a different throttle spring. Thursday it is getting loaded up and taken to the exhaust shop. Hopefully I’ll be able to get the hood on tonight, I’ll be out of town for work tomorrow and...

Everything is ready to go! Went to fire it up on Saturday but nada. First issue was the CAN hook up coming out of the Sniper main harness is NOT where you plug in the monitor. Second issue was I plumbed the fuel regulator backwards. Third issue is that the engine just flat out won’t light off...

I have a stainless steel top on my box now. Went that route. My new bench will probably end up the same as well.

    2025 tool truck sightings.

Snap-On dealer’s last day was yesterday. He says he isn’t sure when his route will be getting picked up. A couple months ago I think he got credit locked and basically was screwed. He kept telling me parts were hard to get. Whatever was on his truck was basically it. His deals were pretty ****...

OMG a shop update for once! Got a ridge vent installed by my roofer semi family member. Hopefully that should bring down the stuffiness. Next up are some soffit vents. Still picking away at the Grand Prix. Also selling off all my old **** that’s just piling up everywhere.

    2025 tool truck sightings.

My Snap-On driver is selling his route. I get a feeling these next few weeks are the last I’ll be seeing of a tool truck for a while LOL I do have a Matco dealer who lives a mile from my house though. I see his truck frequently

Got a 15 Gal. DeWalt air compressor a few weeks ago for free. Needed brushes but apparently started and ran. Turns out it doesn’t so off to Facebook Marketplace it goes. I have better things to do than fart around trying to get this thing to work. Probably going to sell my Craftsman band saw...

Tearing apart and refinishing 3 car garage. Input needed - drywall or OSB?

Drywall all day every day. OSB looks like ****. If you aren’t some animal a drywalled shop is plenty utilitarian. Unless you want to hang a bunch of heavy stuff on the walls.
