If you're not set on that box, watch zoro for their sales. I recently picked up a proto top and bottom box for $1100ish. Much better quality in my opinion.

Anyone think they will get back up to the 30% range before Christmas? Trying to decide on pulling the trigger on a new Proto Toolbox.

I would get 6 point in 1/4 drive. The 12 point look like they would easily round over a nut or wear out quickly in that drive size.

If needed, rockler.com sells a magnetic knife setting gauge. I've found it essential to getting all three knives set at the same height. Having the indeed and out feed parallel is absolutely necessary. Depending on the condition of the machine, you may have to shim the outfield bed to get them...

My craftsman holder works great when I need to hold a big chisel.

That's awesome! I picked up one from that time frame recently at an estate sale for $25. It's painted that old craftsman blue color and needs a good cleaning as well.

Hp requirements are going to be dependent on the hydraulic pump. Try to find identifying marks on the pump and then find a manual on the pump manufacturers website.
